Accessing REDCap Anonymised (External Users)

Please note: Different organisations run separate REDCap systems. If you have used REDCap for a study outside the University of Cambridge, those login details will not work on our REDCap Anonymised server, and projects from other REDCap systems will not appear here.

You must log in using your University of Cambridge CRSid and password.

Accessing REDCap Anonymised for the first time

Before accessing REDCap Anonymised, you must have:

  • a Digital Visitor Agreement in place, and
  • activated your University IT account (CRSid)

Find out about visitor agrements and University IT accounts here.

Once you have been issued a University IT account, you will receive two emails:

  • An email from redcap@camide.cam.ac.uk confirming that you have been granted access to REDCap.
  • An automated email from helpdesk@ide-cam.org.uk asking you to reset your REDCap password.
    • Note: This email only gets sent if you do not already have an account on our REDCap Anonymised server.

Follow the link in the second email to set your password. We recommend using the same password as your Raven password (the one you set when activating your University IT account).

Once you've set your password, you can log into REDCap Anonymised at: https://redcap.camide.cam.ac.uk/

Your username is your CRSid — a short combination of letters and numbers (e.g., abc123). This will have been sent to you when your University IT account was created.
